We are glad you stopped by! Carman is situated in the heart of the Canadian Prairies in the Pembina Valley Region of Manitoba. We are a mere 45 minutes southwest of Manitoba's Capital, Winnipeg, and 45 minutes north of the United States border.

You could say Carman is a Growing Community. Not only are we situated on some of the world's most desirable agricultural land, we are home to two major horticulture industries -- Vanderveen Greenhouses, Canada's largest greenhouse operator, and Aubin's Nurseries, who supply hundreds of garden centres and landscapers across the country.

Carman's slogan is A Community of All Seasons. . . for Lots of Reasons! Recreation is an important part of our community and we have something for everyone! In the summer we've got a 43-site campground, a pristine 18-hole golf course, lighted tennis courts, aquatic centre and a 5-km pathway that connects everything all within town limits - just to name a few.

In the winter, Carman has state-of-the-art Curling and Hockey arenas, a tobogan run, groomed trails for cross country skiing and snowmobiling and a 5-pin bowling alley.
