WHAT IS CAMPUS MANITOBA?

Campus Manitoba (CMB) is a joint program of universities and colleges in Manitoba including Brandon University, the University of Manitoba, the University of Winnipeg, Red River College, Assiniboine Community College, and University College of the North.

The Campus Manitoba program offers university and college courses in 16 communities throughout Manitoba, including Carman. CMB Centre Coordinators provide academic advising and student support.

Carman and Region Facility Courses at CMB are delivered both in the classroom and online. Courses offered in a classroom setting at our centre are delivered live via the internet using a variety of interactive tools, including an electronic whiteboard, shared web-browser, discussion groups, and text-chat. Students must attend these courses at a scheduled time. Online courses are self-study courses accessed via the internet at the student's convenience. Course work for these courses is flexible, yet structured within the term.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF CMB?

Studying with CMB can facilitate the transition from high school to university by providing students the opportunity to study in a smaller, more personalized setting with the support of family, community and centre coordinators. Students can also save on the cost of living, rent, relocation, fuel and traveling by choosing to study with CMB.
